VIP Kids was created in response to the demand
for a professional and quality child minding service to cater to
holiday makers, function attendees and local residents of Mackay
and the Whitsunday's.
The company was created by local Whitsunday residents Sally Stringer
and Kath Jensen who have more than 20 years experience both in
the tourism industry and childcare. Both directors are mothers
so understand the challenge to find good quality care. Sally has
an extensive background in the childcare industry, having worked
as a Director for several major Australian childcare centres and
also serving as a Childcare Centre Assessor for the Australian
Federal Government.
Every VIP Kids Carer is personally interviewed and a reference
check is carried out. All carers are also required to hold a “Blue
Card”. The “Blue Card” is a requirement for all
persons working in the childcare industry that give the regulating
body the authority to conduct a police background check on the
applicant. Ongoing training is also an integral part of company
policy to ensure every team member continues to provide the very
best standard of care for your children.
All carers carry VIP Kids emergency contact numbers and authority
forms for parents to complete with information regarding the care
of your children
